Judiciary

Mission Statement:

The problems of the Philippine Judiciary have remained the same all throughout its almost a century’s existence. Indeed, the Judiciary is wrought with countless dilemmas, ranging from corruption to an impeachable credibility, scarce funding to gross inefficiency. But perhaps, among all these issues which vastly remain unanswered, what concerns the ordinary Filipino who is willingly or unwillingly dragged into the system as a litigant, a plaintiff, a respondent, an accused, or as a witness, is the predicament of delay."

The problem of [judicial] delay not only affects the administration of justice, but also has social, moral, political, and not to mention, vast economic consequences."Judicial independence, Efficiency of legal framework in settling disputes, and Efficiency of legal framework in challenging regulations are the three areas, which the Philippines scored very low among ASEAN countries that were included in the World Economic Forum (WEF) survey. This also means that our judiciary is perceived to be quite heavily influenced by members of government, citizens or firms.

Vision:

To address court [judicial] delay and monitor cases with significant impact on the country’s competitiveness.
